Karma 話你知 Retired from Racing Today
The Hong Kong Jockey Club announced today one retirement and one deregistration.
Caspar Fownes’ eight-year-old veteran KARMA 話你知 has officially called time on his racing career. Over his career on the track, the gelding netted five victories and accumulated over HK$8 million in stakes earnings. Beyond his track record, he is perhaps best remembered by local racing fans for the unrestrained, joyful celebrations of his owner, Roshan, after every victory.
Meanwhile, Cody Mo’s unraced New Zealand import HAPPY FLYER 快樂飛飛 has been deregistered today. The PP import disappointed in all three of his official trials following his arrival in Hong Kong. Despite having no reported injury history, the gelding was not seen again after a light trot at Conghua on September 17, leading to his prompt deregistration.
